Eva Hnykova
was born January 1th 1950 in Nova Paka.
She started devoting fine arts since her youth, influenced by her uncle, a painter Fr. Tasler. Later she was a private student of the painter Fr. Skoda from Liban. Under his influence she gets her own individual style. Since 1991 she has been a professional painter.
The charakteristic trait of her work is a gentle poetic and soft colourity. Her landsacape is full of temper and memories. Everything is completed by her own invention and experience. She is also inspired by the music and the literature. Except bulky paintings of landscape’s details she has also created cycles of paintings with figural themes. Lately her work courses to the spiritual sphere. In her paintings there appears elements connecting the nature and the human soul.
She works in her own studio in Vrchlabi but she also likes visiting south Bohemia and Jeseniky.
She became a Member of the Organisation of the Visual Arts in the Czech Republic.
She has been introduced herself to the public with her author‘s expositions in various places in the Czech Republic and abroad.
